The 5th IAEWG meeting was successfully held with the members at the Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka with the chairmanship of Mr. Anura Dissanayake, Secretary, Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment. As one of the decisions taken at the IAEWG meeting, the Voluntary Committee on IAEWG was established and a meeting was convened on 25 January 2019 to discuss and make decisions relevant to the way forward of IAEWG.

Accordingly, the name of the working group was changed as the “SCP forum” and it was decided to convene the 6th IAEWG (SCP forum) meeting on 15th February 2019.

Accordingly, the 6th IAEWG (SCP forum) meeting will be held on 15th February 2019 at the Conference Hall (Ground floor), Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment, "Sobadam Piyasa",416/C/1,
Robert Gunawardana Mawatha, Battaramulla. At the meeting, the matters including TOR of SCP forum, the way forward and role of SCP cell will be discussed.
